Wisdom in STEM in Action
Caring Valley advanced its Wisdom in STEM mission at the Alameda County Science & Engineering Fair by supporting the event through experienced volunteer judges and by securing Hitachi as the grand title sponsor for the joint Science Fair and Community Initiative.
Our involvement focused on strengthening the fair’s educational impact: seasoned judges offered thoughtful evaluation and mentorship to student innovators, while the new title sponsorship expanded resources for both ACSEF and the broader community STEM effort.
Through this partnership, Caring Valley helped elevate the visibility, stability, and reach of STEM learning across Alameda County—ensuring students benefit from both expert guidance and a stronger, community‑powered foundation for future fairs.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Wisdom in STEM is a community initiative that brings together adults aged 50+ with technical or scientific backgrounds and middle & high school students exploring hands‑on science.
